introduction
In addition to the Tserakordz Circle—a weekly in-person learning and practice space guided by Armenian Needlelace Initiative co-founder Elise Youssoufian—we are thrilled that many of the needlelace makers featured on this site offer in-person and/or virtual learning opportunities, a key way of keeping this and other Armenian needlework traditions alive and evolving.
Please see the teachers directory below, organized by country, with ways to contact each teacher directly about their classes, plus a link to each teacher’s Maker Portfolio where you can view examples of their work on this site.
Also, please note that, as mentioned on our instructional Videos and Texts pages, variations in techniques, patterns and pattern names, and instructional styles between makers are to be expected.
We are interested in adding other Armenian needlelace teachers to this page. If you would like to be considered for inclusion on this site as a teacher, please email us.
