introduction

We are launching the first—Lacing Us Home—with the launch of this website. We invite you to participate in what we hope will become a global collective project.

In collaboration with Adrineh Baghdassarian of She Loves Collective (Los Angeles), Deborah Valoma and Elise Youssoufian developed protocols for a global action of stitching the diaspora with Armenian needlelace patterns. This in-process project is based on the concept that Armenians, once firmly rooted to homeland, are now scattered across the earth.

We invite you to participate in this global intervention to lace our communities together through the metaphorical actions of stitching and knotting. After reviewing the protocols below and you wish to participate, please fill out the form below.
